Features

Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) belongs to the third generation of fuel cell, which is a kind of all-solid chemistry that directly converts the chemical energy stored in fuel and oxidant into electrical energy at medium and high temperature power generation device. SOFC uses solid yttrium oxide and zirconium oxide as electrolytes, and its working temperature is 800 ℃ ~ 1000 ℃. These oxides can conduct oxygen ions at high temperatures, and play a role in conducting oxygen ions and separating oxidants (such as oxygen) and fuel hydrogen in the battery. Common basic components include: electrolyte is yttrium stable zirconia (8YSZ); anode is nickel oxide-yttrium stable zirconia (NiO-8YSZ); cathode is strontium-doped lanthanum manganate-yttrium stable zirconia (LSM-8YSZ) and LSM. In addition to providing yttrium stabilized zirconia (8YSZ), we also provide scandium stabilized zirconia (ScSZ) materials, which can further reduce the operating temperature of fuel cells and improve efficiency.
